Equipping and releasing believers to make disciples as Jesus would, among Muslims wherever they live
Muslims number 1.5 billion people, about one fifth of today’s global population. Comprising a multitude of "tribes and tongues" they worship Allah and follow Islam, a comprehensive system controlling religious expression, social and family relationships, economic practices, jurisprudence, politics and government.
Yet the scene around the throne of God pictured in Revelation 5 of the Bible reveals that, through his blood, Jesus Christ "purchased for God members of every tribe and language and people and nation" to worship and serve him alone.
What did Jesus mean when he instructed his disciples to "…go and make disciples of all nations"? Does that instruction apply to his disciples today? Does "all nations" include Muslims?
Salaam (pronounced "suh-LAHM") Ministries believes that Jesus is still calling his people to make disciples of ALL nations, including Muslims. We believe that Jesus came, not to condemn, but to save the world, including Muslims. And we believe that it is the privilege and responsibility of Christians to show Muslims through our prayers, words and deeds that Jesus is indeed the Way, the Truth and the Life.
We have Jesus’ firm promise that he is always with us in this task. Join us at Salaam and together we will pray, train, fund and send workers out to love Muslims in the power of the gospel, the good news of peace with God through Jesus Christ.
